For the next three months, each of the solutions involved would undergo evaluations including ease of use, implementation, and user experience.
The official objectives set by the stakeholders were to:
1) Establish a technical system for telemedicine;
2) Engage with participants to develop a standard workflow for supporting video visits;
3) Capture provider and member feedback on the telemedicine experience.
The following case study breaks down CareFirst’s interest in telemedicine for their members and how SimpleVisit provided a solution that far surpassed in performance than the other pilot participants.
Telemedicine as a care delivery option is here to stay. The focus is now turned on developing standards for implementation, ease of use and quality user experience for providers and their patients.
SimpleVisit is a video service which allows patients and providers to connect over the video platform of their choice. With SimpleVisit providers are able to deliver on-demand visits to patients over any device or platform they have available to them.
