Veterans Day Highlight: Premier Health Express

In the spirit of the Veterans Day celebration, we are proud to highlight a SimpleVisit user caring for Veterans in innovative ways through telemedicine. Drs. Samuel and Ofundem Nokuri are committed to addressing the unique needs of our veteran population through Premier Health Express located in Columbia, Maryland. Premier Health is associated with the Warrior Centric Healthcare Foundation, a non-profit company founded “for the express purpose of addressing systemic inequities in the ways veterans and their families receive healthcare.” Together with a group of community health practitioners, Premier Health Express is the “first Authorized Warrior Centric Health Clinic in the Nation.” The staff at Premier Health Express are all trained by specialists in veteran health care on how to treat and care for this deserving population. PHE offers Urgent Care, Primary Care and Telemedicine Services to meet those needs, and deliver that care with the extra attention and respect our nation’s heroes deserve. They also serves their local community, partnering with The American Adversity Group and the Foreign-born Information and Referral Network (FIRN) to help direct care to other underserved and deserving subgroups in their area. Their mission exudes compassion in a world where that can be sometimes sadly lacking, and on this day where we celebrate the incredible lives of service our veterans lead, we applaud Premier Health Express for what they do to give back to those who have given so much to us. SimpleVisit is proud to partner as their telemedicine service and look forward to more great things from them in the future as they continue to advocate for and serve our men and women in uniform.
