Urgent Care Use Case
Righttime Medical Care, one of the larger urgent care facilities in Maryland has just launched their new telemedicine service called RighttimeNOW. They are utilizing SimpleVisit to advance their mission of simplifying access to trustworthy medical care by bridging patients and providers into a HIPAA compliant session over video apps like FaceTime, Skype or Google Hangouts.
This virtual care option gives patients access to care for common ailments including head and ear pain, fever, sinus pain, pink eye, rashes, and more. All patients have to do is answer the call from a RighttimeNow Coordinator using a smartphone, tablet, or computer.

Telemedicine in Rural Emergency Rooms: New Study Shows Potential
Emergency rooms are usually hectic and fast-paced, but that doesn’t mean it has to stay that way. Researchers at the Journal of Telemedicine and e-Health showed that initial telemedicine visits can shorten emergency wait times for patients.
