Definitions
Each Practice would choose a “Plan” and then add as many “Provider Accounts” to that shared Plan. They would only be charged beyond the base price for additional Provider Accounts active during the billing period.
A Plan is associated with the billing entity and covered healthcare organization. The invoicing, contract, Business Associates agreement and billing would be handled at this level. A Provider Account is equal to the Contact ID of the provider site. The client would add provider accounts for every unique ID needed for their organization.

How do I schedule an appointment?
- You may either call us at (877) 838-4748, email appointments@simplevisit.com, or use the scheduling portal simplevisit.com/schedule.
- EHR Integrations are available for all subscriptions upon request.
- Required information includes the date and time of the appointment, the patient’s name, preferred video platform and contact information.
What if my patient doesn’t have a video account?
- Our SimpleVisit coordinator team will contact them prior to the appointment in order to help them set up an account on the platform of their choosing.
- We will then conduct a test call prior to the scheduled appointment to ensure the patient is comfortable with the technology and will be able to answer at the time of their session.
When can I schedule an appointment?
- Appointment requests can be submitted at any time. Normal hours of operation for virtual sessions are 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. EST Mon-Fri (excluding national holidays)
- Additional operating hours requested are available for a custom user contract upon approval. Additional fees apply. Appointment must be scheduled at least 12 hours ahead of the time requested.
- Standard appointments should be scheduled at least 1 hour prior to the appointment time. On-demand appointments are available by request.
What is the cancellation policy?
- A Provider must cancel/reschedule 12 hours prior to the scheduled appointment to avoid being charged for that visit.
- Patient MUST request to cancel or reschedule to the provider directly. It is then the provider’s responsibility to confirm the cancellation with us prior to the required timeframe.
